A birthday card....

.......for Chris.  It was recently Chris's birthday on our forum.  The background was made with Crafty Notions spray inks on gloss card.  I was really pleased with the colours and sheen although you may not get the full effect here (sorry!) The frame is a die cut from an Etsy seller.

Acetate Panel

I recently made some backgrounds with my new Crafty Notions sprays. They've just added some new colours (sigh...). I didn't really have anything in mind when I started out but ended up with an acetate panel. They're held together with jump rings and because the acetate is quite a heavy weight stand up happily. These stamps are from the PBS Delight plate.

Sunday Postcard Art - Fabric

Spent a lovely day yesterday with Cotswold Embroiderers Guild. The class was run by Carol Coleman who's recently published a book called Fibredance, making fabric jewellery. She's made some fabulous pieces so have a look at the website if you're interested in that sort of thing. Being a novice, I spent all day making this piece LOL. As this week's Sunday Postcard Art, set by Audrey Hernandez, is fabric, this seemed a perfect entry so I've made a background and I may well use it to decorate the cover of a journal.
