Puzzle Piece Swap and TGIF Lace

I've been lace gathering recently (as opposed to wool gathering LOL!) and this weeks TGIF was the perfect opportunity to use some. This piece is also part of a swap that I'm in too. I'm really stuck on these little flowers at the moment. BTW - the image is actually a rub on.

Coo, it's been a while since I posted. Life's been busy and I can see it being busy for the next couple of weeks too. Anyway, I was very pleased to have some of my puzzle pieces published in Craftstamper just before Christmas so thought I'd show which they were.

Mermaid

This is one of the Fairy Kids images from a Gemini Angel Art collage sheet, transparencies from Crafty Individuals, blank chipboard (which I covered in a mix of green embossing powder) and my own transparency (the mermaid wording). I did try the bubble background technique by Trish Bayley. You can just see the bubbles in dark green. It all adds to the general effect!


I made this as an entry to a monthly challenge on one of ths stamping groups I belong to.
