Birthday cards

Here are a couple of cards I made recently.  The first layout has been posted before but it looks very different with a colour change and the numbers added.  The dies are Memory Box.  I've covered the numbers with gold UTEE and only partially melted it.

For this one I've used a Gecko Galz collage sheet, corrugated card with gesso spread across it, a Spellbinders label die, Tim Holtz rosette and a couple of pieces of paper from my stash.

They're both gorgeous Carol.

They are very different but I love them both. I do like the effect of partially melted gold UTEE. I treated myself to a few Tim Holtz Distress Markers the other day. I think they are going to be very useful.

Great cards, Carol - I especially love the second one, fabulous corrugated texture, and those beautiful delicate images with the kraft papers... yum!

A couple of lovely cards Carol. I love the corrugated card on the second one and the lovely GG image.

Gecko Galz have a blog hop at the end of the month with lots of freebie collage sheets up for grabs.
