You have to laugh.....!

Okay.... so I decided to have a go at a drawing exercise - "Let Go of Looking Good" on the Sketchbook Challenge blog.  The idea is to draw yourself with white crayon on a white background.  Look at yourself in a mirror and draw yourself without looking at the paper.  Once the exercise is finished, paint over the white crayon with watercolours to reveal the image.  Now I know how Picasso did it.   No rude comments please. LMAO!

At least it looks like a face Carol - if I tried it I doubt the lines would link up. Well done. If you frame it and send it to a gallery for modern art, someone might pay a nice sum for it!

Well Carol I would say it is better than Piccaso. I really don't see what people see in his work. I am always getting in trouble for saying that

Very Picasso like! I love tasks like this as you can't judge it by likeness as it's done 'blind' as it were, so you can just enjoy it for it's interesting line etc :)

Oops! Bet you enjoyed this but how brave of you to blog it. Now dare I?

No rude comments from me except if that is you then who is the women in your profile photo?!!!
These exercises are great and very freeing. I have a series of books and because it is 9.00 p.m. at night of course I cannot come up with the authors name. Typically the name will come to mind at 5.00 a.m lol. She wrote The Artist's Way amongst others.
Okay, I am now rambling so signing off.
