Three Shades of Green

The Less is More Challenge this week is "three shades of green." I've never entered this challenge before because I don't do minimalist well but green is a fave colour so here goes.  The stamp is Cats Life Press and the background alcohol inks.

Just in case you're wondering - the "fabric" at the back is layers of threads trapped between water soluble film. This is then free machine embroidered to hold them all together.  Once that's done, the film is dissolved revealing this organic looking textile.

Go and have a look  at the challenge entries - there are some gorgeous ones.

I've not had chance to leave a comment in ages but have kept popping by.

Love your take on the Less is More and I think you have it mastered with this gorgeous card. Your sample of fabric is beautiful and I love the colours. Green (and shades thereof) is just about my favourite colour I think.

One of my favourite images, tho I haven't used her for a while because I find her a bit limiting in what I'm doing at the moment but you've done a great job there. Surprised to see you using AIs, though, he, he - not! Love greens myself - might just have to have a go... x

Lovely Carol, this is a gorgeous card, love how you have used the green on it. I hope to soon get into this dissolving stuff. Now to carry on playing catch up - you've been so busy.
