A stitched birthday tag

I recently bought a flower stitcher foot for my machine which is one hell of a gizmo (see below)

As I was lucky enough to  be off during the last week of September (when we had all that wonderful sun), I had a chance to play.  I hadn't planned on ending up with this but it just evolved and was perfect for a forum friend's birthday.  It also gave me a good chance to get to grips with my sewing machine and I feel much more comfortable with it now.  As usual - click on it for a larger picture.

I love this tag Carol - what a great way of using the flower stitcher. I want to play some more with mine but what with the garden and my course there aren't enough hours in the day.

Once again I am in awe of your creations. Doesn't matter if it is paper or fibre you can do it all.
What an amazing gizmo with amazing results.

Amazing Carol! Love the flowers.
That gadget at first glance looks like a kind of scientific gadget or ships compass. Love it (but I'm a bit geeky like that!!)

That's lovely, Carol - lovely colours. Is it all stitched? If it is, it's fab!

This is fabulous. I love the flowers, I think I'll have to look to see if they make a flower foot for my machine.

OMW what a lovely tag. Sewing is quite alien to me so I am fascinated that this can be done on a machine. Love it, x

I love that foot! It does bear a little resemblance to an instrument of torture though.

Carol, the machine looks at least strange ;) It bears no resemblance to any thing I know;) But it gives great results! Tag is beautiful:)

Oh wow your tag is stunning. Loving your flower stitcher, I have enough trouble with running stitches so this is way too complicated for me.....you are such a clever lady. x
