Two birds with one stone...

... as in two things at once.   This is a tag I've just completed for our forum swap for Karin who chose sea and nature as her theme.  The stamps I've used are some fairly recent releases from the Stampsmith called Beach Landscape.

It's a little on the darker side than in reality, partly because it's such a cruddy, dull day here lol.  In keeping with the theme, the background is Ecoline inks wash with salt dried on it which reminded me of coral and I've not melted the UTEE round the edge too much to keep it looking like sand.  The starfish  are the real thing that I brought back from Cyprus.

This tag is a little work of art Carol. I love the way you have treated the UTEE, and how could you bear to part with those dear little star fish but they do add a special finishing touch.

One of my favourite colour combos, Carol - love it. Bet it's so much nicer IRL and if we ever get some flipping daylight!!

I digress - love your tag - gorgeous colours and those stamps look pretty neat.

There is a blog award waiting for you to pick up on my Sunday post if you don't mind - it's an easy one for a change.
