TSC2: Black and white and one other colour

The second challenge is just up on the Stampsmith Challenge blog and this week it's to create a project in black and white and one other colour.  If you need some inspiration and want to have a go, here's the link.

This is my effort.  I have no idea where the damask paper came from.  It was buried in my stash but if anyone has any let me know because I LOVE it! lol  I've used a Tim Holtz texture fade to accentuate Marilyn who's image is from Marilyn Sheet 1.

We are seduced by colour but sometimes black and white can be really stunning. This card is just that and poor Marilyn makes a super image.

I love this one but there's something about the wee red gemstones in the corners that make me go all gooey!

This is a stunner Carol and I agree that damask paper is lovely.

I was supposed to be going to a workshop tomorrow (er, sorry today, Lol) for photorealistic stamping but there weren't enough places booked so it's cancelled. It's one form of stamping I have yet to master and so admire the beautiful results you get.

I adore your work - and sure wish I lived nearer Dyan's to go on her journalling courses - so envious.

I am have not been able to comment on blogs lately - only had time to look at the updates - but I do visit.
