I've got another article in August's Craftstamper which hits the stalls this Friday. I don't know how I came across the poem that inspired it but I must have heard it at some point and it's stayed with me. Tim Holt's bird cage die was an obvious element to use.
I've also been making lots of hand made fabric flowers recently. They're very easy and the instructions are included in the article.

Your article is stunning. The title jumped out at me as the book by Maya Angelou is an absolute favourite of mine.

Oh I can hardly wait for my magazine to come. Love your cage texture and colours. The flowers look like fun. I've been trying to make my own as opposed to packaged so this article will be great!
