Tag swap

I've just finished the next tag in our forum swap for Paula.   I did enjoy making this as it involved a quite a few different techniques.  The background is made with distress ink and glimmer mists with a Tim Holtz mask overlaid.  I got my delivery of Jo's stamps this weekend so used the butterfly with the long splatter and French text adding to the depth of the background.

Jo's stamps can be ordered direct from Stampotique or Happy Daze in the UK.  Other stamps are by SU and Stamp in the Hand and the whole thing was edged with gold UTEE.

I just love this tag. It is elegant and distressed at the same time! The glimmer mists add a nice touch.

I love this tag Carol. I have recently bought some new craft supplies but had no time to try them out yet. I want to experiment with layering - I love the effects that can be achieved.

Carol, You never fail to inspire me and to really capture my interest. Your such a talented artist and it is such a thrill to see your new pieces every time.
I have to order a couple of Jo's new stamps next, they all are so great. I love the bumble bees and the mushrooms. But right after I placed my last Stampotique order I immediately placed another which I'm currently waiting on, so I have to wait a bit now. I love how everyone on the design team this challenge used Jo's stamps. Really gives us lots of ideas (which I suppose is the point). At any rate, beautiful tag, love the light pink in your colors.
