And finally for today my next Stampsmith DT make. I'm really enjoying including some stitching in my work at the moment. This is a Maya Road canvas tag. I initially sprayed it with some Glimmer Mist, stamped a text stamp over this and edged the tag with the same sepia ink. I've stitched round the edge with gold thread, attached the pic in the same way and VERY carefully (LOL) stitched the letter"f" and "L" . (click on the pic if you want a closer look)
This is the lovely Audrey Hepburn by the way. The bling is from Prima, the flower from Maya Road and the lace from Webster's Pages (yes they do gorgeous trims too!). By the way - isn't the stone I've photographed it on just gorgeous?

That lovely stone really sets off your beautiful tag to perfection Carol. I love the stitching you have included and the stamp - she was such a lovely woman. It's interesting that crafters are including fabric and stitch in their work and textile artists are incorporating crafting techniques in theirs. We'll all meet in the middle one day!

Strange... for some reason I was only thinking of you last night and here you are today! Such a classic tag. The stamp is divine and the use of the fabric and stitching compliment it beautifully.
