Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Here's my latest for the Stampsmith DT which I also made for one of the girls on our forum.  It always strikes me as a very cheerful, cheeky stamp.  The background paper is from Club Scrap which I love and have now nearly run out of and the white flourishes and flowers are Kaiser rubons.

She IS cheeky, isn't she? You'll just have to make some paper like it - come on, it looks easy enough and right up your street, lol!!!

Great card Carol - Betty Grable was a pin-up girl when I was young and famous for her fabulous legs. I love the background you have created for her - I've got a thing about backgrounds!

I love that stamp, I think I need to buy that. You're right, it's very cheeky. I am an avid Club Scrap fan and previous kit receiver. Now I just buy the kits when I am able to and the kits that I really like as oppose to getting them every month automatically. That paper is from the Feb.2007 "Refresh" kit isn't it? I really loved the paper from that kit too (of course greens & blues together are my favroite). Don't they have that paper anymore? I always loved their stamps and how everything coordinated. Unfortunately, I was getting to where I was spending crazy amounts in the GHM dept. I had to break away for awhile. Are you still a member? BTW, back to your card, I love it, it's adorable. Sorry I was rambling on and on. Take care.

Love the layering of the rub ons onto the paper. (Thought maybe you had white embossed them) The image works so well with the background and the sentiment! Lovely!
