Art Journaling at the Stamp Attic

Penny and I had a fab day at the Stamp Attic on Saturday taking an art journalling class with Sarah Anderson.  Sarah has a very relaxed and easy going style of teaching and it made for a really enjoyable day which passed in a flash.

Art journaling is really an ongoing thing as it seems to me you always have pages in various stages of completion which means that on any one day you can paint a background,

.......or do some doodling, or do some stamping, or write a few words depending on your mood.

My book's in no way completed yet but you can see the start of it and as we've booked onto the second art journalling class, there's likely to be an update late in May!

Luck, lucky you and Pen being back at the Stamp Attic for yet another workshop... especially the journalling. I must speak nicely to my OH and to Maureens in the hope of persuading them to chauffeur us to Wantage again! Your results are beautiful.

Great pieces Carol, I didn't manage to have a look at what you did on the day as it seemed to go so fast. It was a brilliant workshop though, wasn't it!?!

I must make the effort at the weekend to get my photos up too.

Love your pages Carol, I did not see much of what went on on Saturday as I had to man the shop, but oh wow, wish I had done. Sarah is an amazing teacher isn't she.

Glad you enjoyed Sarah's workshop - and are doing her part 2. Be careful though, it is addictive.

Love your pages and the colours and images you have used.

These pages are great! I wish I could get to one of those lovely classes with my daughter who I have just introduced to journalling (even though I've never done it myself). I'm going to send her the link to this post.

Thanks for sharing Carol.
