Ophelia

I've been enjoying reminding myself which Stampsmith Stamps I own.  The trouble is once you start buying stamps you get carried away and do tend to forget what you have! (anyone else have that problem?!)  Ophelia is a lovely image and must  be one of the most well known Stampsmith Stamps.

.... and I'm very sorry - it's another easel card.  I promise to do something different next time!

Why fix something that is not broken! This is gorgeous as an easel card and a perfect choice. Lovely card. Love the arch over the stamped image.

This is an equisite card, just beautiful. I'd love to have your easel card template, I think they are pretty cool. BTW, that is a beautiful stamp from StampSmith, I own it myself. I forget about my stamps also. Especially the unmounted ones that I have in binders. Because I don't visually see those as much as I do the wood mounted ones. I go through these stamp buying moods, getting everything that's hot and popular and then I forget how many stamps I really do own. I actually bought the whole line of Character Constructions "Queen of Tarts" stamps because that was when Marie Antoinette was so popular about a year ago. I actually have yet to use them if you can believe that?

It's a beautiful card Carol and so elegant. I've been practising my ink blending technique today - I'm improving with the help of a Tim Holtz blending tool. I just need to find away of keeping the ink on the card and not on my fingers. I should change my blog name to Inky Fingers!

I have the Ophelia stamp and love it but have always just used her on her own. The way you have used her with the mirror and the flourish at the top is fantastic. Love your easel card - keep 'em coming is what I say.

This is just beautiful Carol. I also have this stamp, currently unused! Like you I forget what I've got, I've tried every which way to catalogue them but with the amount of unmounted stamps I've got I really don't think I'm ver going to succeed!
I love how you've turned the frame into an easel card, and your stamping is fantastic,
Love Sarita xx
