I hate pink!

I have no idea how I ended up with a pink card but there you go! Stampotique have announced a new challenge site which is fab cos I love their stamps (although this month you're NOT obliged to use Stampotique stamps). The first challenge is to make a LOVE themed card.

I bought Marci recently and this has been my first chance to use her. I've used 2 pics because the UK light is still bad at this time of year and unless you have a fab camera and some idea what you are doing (which I don't) there's no chance! Sorry the first is a bit over-exposed.

The second pic is a more realistic production of the colour and also shows up the lustre from the colour spray I used. The whole piece is on a pale pink plasma card.

VERY pink, but I don't mind pink at all :) I love this, Carol and it's great to be able to see the glitz - brings it to life and makes it more dimensional. Bet it's much better in real life. Love the fonts used, too!

I am not a 'pink' person either but I do like this card. Love how you have used the pink - subtle.

Isn't it funny how often we end up using colors that we just don't like? Then, the next thing you know, there's no turning back!

Really lovely and so sorry I haven't been by lately.

I know what you mean about pink! Great card though - I really love how you've put a few little zig zag stitches on the shabby heart! :)

There's pink and pink, as as pink goes this is a nice one! Great card and I love the lustre. Do you think the temperature might rise just a bit if you took the 'snow' off your blog?! Keep warm and Happy Crafting.

It is a fab card. I never used to like pink but teamed with black & chocolate it can really look cool.
I think it works well with these images as the girl is so obviously grunge/goth & not a pink wearer!!

I love this entry of yours, the pinks make it so very
Valentine-sy. Don't you just love those Stampotique stamps? They are so fun to work with. You can either do fun and up-beat or they are also perfect for Halloween and dark type cards. Thanks for visiting my blog. I've actually had you as one of my favorite blogs for a long time, I really love your work. It's very inspiring!
