Must admit, I'm really excited about my most recent article in Craftstamper. It's the most complex article I've written so far so I hope you enjoy it and find it useful! Let me know what you think.
This is the acrylic paint transfer - lots of finger rubbing here!
...and finally, the smelliest, using essential oils. So get out your oils and give it a go LOL.

I thought your article was brilliant Carol, and I loved your projects. I might have to bite the bullet and give it a go!
Happy new year 'Wiggle'!
Alison xx
Just what I needed... I've always struggled getting a clear image. Will try them out asap
I'm looking forward to getting my copy, Carol. Your article is just what I need as my transfers always go wrong! lol
Can't wait to get my hands on a copy Carol - your techniques sound very interesting.
:-( not seen the issue yet !!
Haven't tried them as yet - will be doing - but your article was brilliant. Lovely samples as always from you.
Congrats on the masterclass article Carol - it's excellent. I nipped out for my copy this morning and will certainly have a go at two or three of the methods. I have essential oils and liquid sculpey. Only a few days ago I tried using Bondaweb with a photocopy to transfer the image onto fabric. It worked quite well and I'm about to post it on my blog.
Still no sign of my copy of CS - how annoying! Cannot wait to read your article. Lynne
The article was well written in plain English. Great projects. Well done!!
this sounds fab Carol, unfortunately we are snowed in now- even with a landrover!! so I will get mine asap and will definately try out some of the techniques, I'm intrigued to know why essential oils are mentioned!!
well done, very well deserved too.
Happy 2010 to you and yours. x :)
Sounds really interesting Carol, specially the essential oils! I Will try and get hold of a copy of the magazine!

Beautiful Carol!! I LOVE doing image transfers :)
Oooh. Looks so wonderful! I'll be on the lookout for the magazine now.
Thanks for a fab article carol! I've tried and tried and getting there slowly! I did try the essential oil one but failled miserably *however* I did siscover if you rub essential oil over distress ink backgrounds it makes them more vibrant :D
I'll stick to the acrylic method for now and thanks for the advice re: gesso x
