Spent a lovely day yesterday with Cotswold Embroiderers Guild. The class was run by Carol Coleman who's recently published a book called Fibredance, making fabric jewellery. She's made some fabulous pieces so have a look at the website if you're interested in that sort of thing. Being a novice, I spent all day making this piece LOL. As this week's Sunday Postcard Art, set by Audrey Hernandez, is fabric, this seemed a perfect entry so I've made a background and I may well use it to decorate the cover of a journal. This is so beautiful - I love the butterflies (The Postman variety, I think, that I used to take care of when I worked in a butterfly farm). Your work is as serene as watching them all day!
