I've been making things all my life, love trying new techniques and now I've added quilting to the list. Life has changed since I discovered blogging and a whole new world of art and crafts. If I don't make something regularly I get twitchy and bad tempered!
what a stunning and whimsical piece this is....love the way youve done the gate - and that child on the rabbit is adorable.A really must have piece to own...Does it need a home *blush* well, a girl can only ask!
Carol this is fab, you have fantastic ideas and this shows them all, absolutely stunning secret garden. think I may take part in this one if I get time, you've inspired me!! (again) :)
do you know what I love so much about your work, it's all the little details. it means that I always spend ages taking it all in. I love the acetate gate, genius, and the little girl on the bunny. it really does capture the whole idea of a secret garden. just amazing!
This is stunning work..I just want to go through that gate and see what's on the other side! Love all the detail. Love Sarita xx PS: If you hadn't owned up to not creating that background I would never have known lol!
I love your Secret Garden and wish I could produce something like that. Thankyou for your kind comment on my blog and it would be lovely to meet you if you get to Ashton Court. I think I'm there on Sunday 10th May and Thurs.14th, but haven't seen the rota yet.
What a beautiful mixed media project. Awesome and just really pretty!! I'd love to read your instructions to see what all you used and did for this Secret Garden project. If they are available that is?
Carol - just popped on to see this now rofl - you wouldn't believe but I had the very same idea with that same stamp of the gate ready to go - thankfully I changed my mind at the last minute. Absolutely love this piece.
