I've been making things all my life, love trying new techniques and now I've added quilting to the list. Life has changed since I discovered blogging and a whole new world of art and crafts. If I don't make something regularly I get twitchy and bad tempered!

unloved artwork! LOL
I submitted these for publication sometime back but it doesn't look like anything's going to come of it so I've blogged them because I REALLY liked them.
As you've probably guessed, the background paper is from Crafty Individuals overlaid with Iron Orchid paintables. I coloured the back of these with gold Krylon
Stamps are from Crafty Individuals, Third Coast and Lazar Studiowerx.
I really like them too Carol - beautiful - as are the background settings where you've photographed them. The third is my favourite hanging, love the butterflies - love the blossom setting on the 2nd and how you've tied in the background and artwork colours on each one - what flair!
they are fabulous carol, and although it's beutiful where you have photographed them I did have the urge to brush the leaves out of the way on the last one so I could have a closer look. lol :) The colours of these are much gentler than I normally associate with you but they are gorgeous.
Thanks for your lovely comment! These are stunning! I am amazed they've not been published! I bought some of these paintables just the other week (I am a bit slow lol). Love wht you've done with them!
ooooooooooooooooo ya mad loon, these WILL be published, they are gorgeous. really love all of them....I couldn't pick a fave but I do love the gold Krylone backed one.....great stuff, and I can't wait to see them in print!!
Wow - Carol - they are all amazing, I love the soft colours, and paintables?? I have no clue what they are but they finish the pieces off beautifully. Love the sticks with embossing powder.all gorgeous.
stunning work Carol - well, whoever you sent them too must be blind...but fingers crossed they might still print them! Ive never been able to use the last stamp youve used but youve inspired me to give it another go...just hope I can do it as much justice as you have!
Ooh, these are fab, Carol. Love the colours you chose and the images look great. Bet you end up having to take them down because they're published.......
They're breath-taking Carol, all of them. I am so envious of your beautifully blended backgrounds, such stunning colours. They are all works of art, Love Sarita xx PS: Will be ordering a few (oh OK lots lol) of Stampinback stamps this weekend so thank you for letting me know about them.
These aren't unloved by those of us who visit here!! All beautiful Carol - I'm hard pushed to pick a favourite from the second and third one! Can take them ages to publish so you never know.
Hey Carol.....had to come by and give you a big congrats! I just got the new issue of Stampers Sampler and two of these three pieces are in there. They look great as they are large pics of them. One on each page....gorgeous! Congrats!!!

If its an American publication and less than 2 years ago, theres every chance they will be published.
