Just because....
I was just reading Gina's latest post on her blog about going to the Zandra Rhodes exhibition, looking at the stunning bead embroidery and how she'd made some earrings years ago inspired by Zandra Rhodes. It reminded me of my beading phase and these lovely earrings. I should wear them more often.

I have seen a Zandra Rhodes exhibition, a long time ago but it was totally inspiring. And then again...I saw the Vivienne Westwood one at the V&A a while ago....fantastic......and wear those gorgeous earrings!! That's an order.

Absolutely you should wear these Carol. I've done embroidery incorporating beading but never made jewellery of any kind let alone something as beautiful as these! I remember going to a Zandra Rhodes exhibition that, luckily for me, was on at a gallery nearby when I was doing my C&G Fashion & Design courses. The beading was amazing and I marvelled at the skills and patience required to stitch them.
