Ever since I first saw this stamp,


I could see it made from fabric but achieving that is another thing altogether!  So as a compromise I've hand stitched beads .....


Round the edges I added some rolled up muslin and couched it in place.   I also added some cross stitch and back stitching.


The finaly result is below.  (click on pick for a more detailed view). I wanted to try and achieve the effect of an old tapestry on a wall in a(n) historical building.  Don't think I've achieved that but it was certainly an interesting experiment.

Very nice interpretation with the beads, I did one with beads & sequins from plate 004- the Lynn Perella stamps are so versatile :-).

Wow Carol - I love this. I love the little tag shapes along the bottom and your rolled muslin and lace edgings. I'm always looking for ways of combining fabric and stamping and this has worked a treat.
