More Sox

How about these to cheer you up on a cold, dull winter's day?  Probably one of the most complex sock patterns I've tried so far but the more difficult they are the more I like it!

Here's a close up of the leg pattern which is based on the Kaffe Fassett poppy pattern (if anyone recognises it).

And this close up shows you how the pattern varies across the foot.

The pattern is available here on Ravelry.

They are gorgeous and do look rather complicated. I did recognise the pattern and have always like it. You'll have warm feet whatever the weather.

Gosh, Carol, they ARE intricate - gorgeous, though! You're very patient. I've never made socks... yet. Been doing a lot of knitting, though and even trying to rejuvenate my crochet skills at the moment, though not very successfully, lol. As all my school reports said, 'Must try harder...' xxx

Oooh, these are sooo funky! Love them Carol. I haven't done any knitting for years and yet at one time I never sat down without having my knitting in my hands....... that was until it started sending me to sleep, lol!
