Craftstamper Feb 2010

Must admit, I'm really excited about my most recent article in Craftstamper. It's the most complex article I've written so far so I hope you enjoy it and find it useful! Let me know what you think.

There are four different techniques to try out, so hopefully one or two will appeal. The one above is using Lazertran

This is the acrylic paint transfer - lots of finger rubbing here!

...and finally, the smelliest, using essential oils. So get out your oils and give it a go LOL.

Congrats on the masterclass article Carol - it's excellent. I nipped out for my copy this morning and will certainly have a go at two or three of the methods. I have essential oils and liquid sculpey. Only a few days ago I tried using Bondaweb with a photocopy to transfer the image onto fabric. It worked quite well and I'm about to post it on my blog.

Thanks for a fab article carol! I've tried and tried and getting there slowly! I did try the essential oil one but failled miserably *however* I did siscover if you rub essential oil over distress ink backgrounds it makes them more vibrant :D

I'll stick to the acrylic method for now and thanks for the advice re: gesso x
