A blast from my past - stitching!

I was looking at Patti's blog the other night (see my sidebar) and it reminded me that I had done a sampler some time back and couldn't remember what I'd done with it. After some searching I dug it out and couldn't believe firstly it was so long since I'd stitched it (1998 - it says so!) and secondly that I'd gone into so much detail. I think it's gorgeous so thought I'd blog it. It's on 32 count linen for those of you who know and includes drawn thread work and different types of stitch. I'll have to get it framed instead of leaving it sitting in a box.

I used to do a lot of stitching & wonder where I ever found the patience!

I stitched this Darlene O'Steen sampler back in 1997 - there are pictures on my blog in the Archives - probably Dec last year or Jan this year. I love her samplers. You did a really lovely job of it so you should get it framed.
